Valorian Medical Technologies spun out of Expanse to tackle one of the largest underserved populations in men’s health: the millions of patients with erectile dysfunction who cannot take or do not respond to PDE5 inhibitors. Supported by the Rhode Island Life Science Hub (RILSH) and leveraging Expanse’s full-cycle development infrastructure, Valorian has completed a successful clinical proof-of-concept and is now advancing a next-generation device. Current alternatives for this population are invasive, painful or ineffective. Valorian’s technology is engineered to change that.
