The People Behind the Innovations

Eitan Konstantino is a distinguished serial entrepreneur and leader in the MedTech industry. He is the founder and CEO of Expanse Medical, a medical device incubator focused on global innovations. Throughout his career, Eitan has founded and led multiple medical device companies across the U.S. and Asia, guiding them from concept through to sales, M&A, IPO and licensing transactions. He has led Advanced Stent Technologies, AngioScore, TriReme, Quattro Vascular and QT Vascular, and served as CTO at Genesis MedTech. ​​His technologies have been acquired or distributed by leading multinational companies such as Medtronic, Teleflex, Philips, J&J and Boston Scientific. He holds close to 200 global patents and patent applications. His inventions include advanced stents, specialized angioplasty balloons like AngioSculpt® and Chocolate®, drug/device combination products, and the FLOWRUNNER™ Aspiration System. ​He has also served as Co-Chairman of the ASTM/FDA task force for endovascular standards. Eitan earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.

Sean Zhang is the Vice President and Head of Business Development at Genesis Medtech Group, where he leads strategic initiatives to drive growth and innovation. Prior to this role, he served as Senior Director of Business Development at Boston Scientific, contributing to key partnerships and market expansion. Sean brings a wealth of experience from his earlier positions at Boston Scientific, Goldman Sachs, and ZS Associates, combining deep expertise in business strategy, finance, and management consulting to deliver impactful results across the healthcare and medtech sectors.

Shlomi Nachman is a seasoned MedTech executive with 30 years of experience in the medical device industry. Shlomi retired from Johnson & Johnson in January 2023 as Company Group Chairman of Cardiovascular and Specialty Solutions and Vision Groups within Johnson & Johnson’s Medical Devices business, and a member of the Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices Group Operating Committee. Over his career, Shlomi led a diverse portfolio of multiple medical device businesses including Electrophysiology, Neurovascular Intervention, Cardiovascular, Ear, Nose & Throat, Breast Aesthetics, Optometry and Ophthalmology. Prior to that, he served in various roles with increased scope and responsibilities, including Worldwide President of Biosense Webster and Cordis. He is on the board of various private and public companies in the cardiovascular arena, as well as on the board of Arnold and Mabel Beckman Foundation. Shlomi holds a Bachelor of Science in Management & Economics from Technion – Israel Institute of Technology and a Technical Diploma in Electronic Engineering from the Amal Technical School.
